Night Feed Description
This painting depicts Swordfish and a Thresher Shark feeding on squid at night under the glow of artificial light. A large worldwide population of Swordfish was discovered in the mid 1970’s and as a result these beautiful fish were relentlessly hunted by commercial fishermen and their numbers badly decimated. As a result of strict conservation methods and protections the population is again on the rise.
